“growing up is not the problem- forgetting is” -Antoine de Saint-Exupéry

Perhaps it’s because I have 2 boys of my own- or because I have always been one to believe that one does not have to grow old to grow up- or maybe because I have felt the pain of saying goodbye too soon as well as the faith in knowing that the heart can ensure that no goodbye is forever- or maybe it’s because I believe in the magic we create with hope and imagination and perspective- but The Little Prince is one of my most favorite stories- and one I reread time and again.

I have tried to capture and honor the spirit of this special story in my design- “Mon Petit”– in the artwork as well as the sentiments because I feel it can translate so well to the stories I know so many of you, like me, hope to tell.  Here’s a closer look:
