There’s something magical about the end of summer. These last weeks of August have a golden glow- not as bright and happy as those first days of summer. But filtered with a nostalgic feel. It’s like we are already looking back on summer days, even before they are over. Maybe it’s because the next chapter of a Autumn is almost larger than life- with back to school, crisp weather, colorful crunchy leaves and all things Holiday- but August is like the slow Sunday sunset of summer.
There are a few scrapbooking layouts created with my summer collection that capture this feeling- and I wanted to share them with you. Maybe they will inspire you to capture the feeling of these August days- maybe they will just nudge you to tell the stories of whatever season you are in as you read this. Every season has a special story- how awesome is it that as memory keepers, we can tell those stories in such an artful way?
