Hello October!  When creating a design for this month’s BYOC collection, I was inspired by the joy of last weekend’s digital scrapbooking day celebrations. I made sure to set a little time aside to put together a few layouts both on and off screen and organized my photos and stash.

I also found myself looking through older layouts- and I was really struck by how quickly the “everyday” can change- and how happy I am that I take the time to take note of the little things. These days in my house, change is the new normal- and I work hard to capture the everyday routines on film and journaling because I know too well that they will soon change. And if we are going to be real- the “stuff” over everyday can get a little heavy. Going through my photos- catching that look in my son’s eyes, that smile, that perfect shot- it is a reaffirmation that, yes, life is good. Taking time to note the everyday is a way to see the good in everyday.
