So I had a few things on my plate today- and whenever things get a little hectic, my defense mechanism is a to-do list. write it down. prioritize. check it off. ahhhh… love the checking off. And sometimes, I will make list for the boys.: pick up 10 toys and put them in the toy box. pick up all socks and put them in the hamper. little things that make the house run a little smoother. Today, Liam, my little one, came to me and said he was not to be disturbed. He had something important on his list and needed to have time to do it.

Needless to say, I gave him a box and told him to “command this”.
He seems ok with his revised list. π
This is funny and I can completely relate. Lists make my life seem more organized and controlled, especially in the uncontrollable world of kids. π
